About Me

Hello Lakie family!

I am thrilled to be serving the students, staff and school community as an acting Vice Principal. Part of my role in the administrative team is to look after inclusive learning and student programming, bussing, and technology support.  This year I have the pleasure of working with the grade eight teaching team and students as the grade level administrator.  I am also teaching two grade seven science classes.

I have been teaching since 2005, all of which has been here in Lethbridge. I am a University of Lethbridge graduate and I have taught at G.S. Lakie since 2007, minus a one-year secondment with the University of Lethbridge.  I am a science major at heart, and love all things science, including robotics and computers.

I am a lucky father of two wonderful little girls, with a third little one on the way!  In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, playing in the backyard with my girls, hiking, golfing, snowboarding (at the most beginner level!) and going to the movies.

I am very honoured and grateful to have the chance to work with such an amazing group of educators in a phenomenal school.  We have the most talented and hard working group of students in the city and I look forward to coming to school and working with our teams each and every day!  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns - thank you!!
