Lakie offers a wide selection of options for students to choose from. Although the performing arts does play a significant role in our option programming, we also strive to offer a wide selection of other options for students to select from. Many of our option courses are delivered from full time option teachers who are specialists in their areas. These include options like Drama, Band, Art, Foods, Guitar, Shop, Dance, Multimedia, Choir, or Sewing. Other options may be delivered by teachers who have a passion in a particular subject area. These include options like Out Door Ed, Archery, Sports Enrichment, Drivers Ed, or Strength & Conditioning. As always, we want students at the middle school level to try new things and explore avenues that they may not otherwise experience. Middle School options are designed to allow students to explore new areas and perhaps ignite a new passion of their own.
