The canteen model at G.S Lakie has changed for the 2023-24 school year. We want to thank Munchies for everything they did with us over the past few years and look forward to working with them again in the future.
Next year, we will offer pre-ordered hot lunches twice a week through School Cash Online, which will rotate between Subway, Booster Juice, Quesada, and Boston Pizza. The first hot lunch delivery is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, September 19. A hot lunch schedule will be available for viewing on the G.S. Lakie website and Gator Gab the week prior to delivery. Although not a full menu from our food providers, there will be different lunch options for our students to choose from.
Again, we will be soliciting help from parent volunteers to help sort and distribute lunches. Please email matthew.brunner@lethsd.ab.ca if you are able to help out or look for communication in the fall.
