Hi, I’m Ms. J! I spent the last 6 years working as an Educational Assistant at the elementary level with Lethbridge School Division and am so excited to be joining the Lakie family. I am a first year student in the Aboriginal Teacher Education Program (Bachelor of Education) through the University of Alberta.
When I’m not working in the school or studying, I love spending time with my two kids, reading, working out, playing video games, volunteering at the animal shelter, and walking my 13 year old dog ‘Bubbles’ I rescued last year.
My personal motto is to “be the person you needed when you were younger!”I cannot wait to meet the students and families in our school community!
