Pathway to Reconciliation - Friday, September 29th
On Friday, September 29th, staff and students will start FISH Friday by watching a special video with Johnny Bare Shin Bone, lead organizer of Napi’s Run, followed by taking part in a 1-kilometer walk inspired by Terry Fox and Napi’s Run to promote truth and reconciliation. We ask staff and students to please wear an orange shirt this day.
At 10:00 a.m., all students and families are invited to join us outside the front entrance of G.S. Lakie for a very special Blackfoot Confederacy Flag Raising Ceremony. We will be joined by Elder, Tom Little Bear, Drummers, Troy & Julius Delaney and other special guests. We look forward to seeing you there!
